Twitter for BlackBerry Beta Updated to Version 1.1

The 1.1 beta version of Twitter for Blackberry is available, among its new features include geo tagging, and support for new languages. It even features a user interface more 'clean' and lets you receive notifications.

Here the specifications of the new features:

@ Mention Push Notifications - notifies users with push notifications when they are mentioned in the bar (@ mention), helping users to respond more quickly;

Direct Messages - renamed "Messages", messages are now directed style of conversations BBM. Related messages are grouped together so that the area is not divided;
# Topic Autocomplete - when users include a hashtags in their tweets, there is a list of keywords based on topic # previously used;

Integration with Social Feed - offers a better integration with the respective feeds and lets you write on Twitter directly from them, ie without having the need to launch the application;

Retweet Update - the Retweet now appear on the home timeline with the tag "retweet by you," fast warning users that a retweet was sent;

New Gesture Support - BlackBerry users with a touch screen smartphone can update the content of this page simply by dragging your finger across the screen and then release it;

Additional language support - new language packs have been included as Poland and Czechoslovakia.

The application works with all BlackBerry smartphones that have at least software version 4.5 or higher and can be downloaded from the BlackBerry Beta Zone.
