BlackBerry Tip: How to Dial Phone Numbers that Contain Text
There are phone numbers where you get a combination of letters so that you can easily remember, for example, 1-800-CON-DIOS. In a conventional phone, each key containing numbers and letters, then you only have to make a key that corresponds to the letter. But on a BlackBerry does not, because the numbers do not correspond to the letters (for example, 2 is for the letters ABC). To dial a phone number that contains letters on a BlackBerry follow the instructions below:
- Open the phone application
- Mark the numbers normally (1800)
- When I touch you make a point, hold down the ALT key and check points
- Once you've got what you wanted to make (1800CONDIOS), call number
- The BlackBerry will automatically convert the text in the appropriate numbers (in this case 18002663467)
